Time has etched the glory of military service, while artisanal dedication carries forward the original aspiration of supporting the armed forces.

On the eve of the 99th anniversary of the founding of the Chinese People’s Liberation Army, on the evening of July 31, Sichuan Qingjiang Machinery Co., Ltd. hosted a warm and heartfelt banquet, inviting all its veteran employees to gather together. Over a family-style feast and in an atmosphere of candid conversation, they reminisced about their glorious years in the military, discussed the company’s journey of growth, and extended their sincerest holiday greetings and highest respect to these dedicated veterans who remain true to their ideals even after leaving active service.

Zheng Xiansheng, Chairman of the company’s trade union, extended festive greetings to the veterans in attendance and expressed his gratitude for their hard work and dedication to the nation, the people, and the company’s development.

Chairman Liu Rui highly commended all the company’s veteran employees for their contributions to the company’s growth, encouraging them to continue upholding and carrying forward the glorious traditions and fine conduct of the military: once donning uniform to defend the nation and safeguard the peace of our land, they now don their work attire, take root in the workshop, and remain committed to crafting every oil‑pressing machine with meticulous craftsmanship.

On an ordinary day, veteran comrades who have served in various posts gathered around the dining table. Old friends reunited, shaking hands and exchanging pleasantries, reminiscing about the unforgettable days of training in the barracks and sharing stories from their work since retiring and joining Qingjiang. Laughter and cheerful conversation filled the entire banquet.

At the gathering, everyone joined in singing military songs such as “Returning from Target Practice,” their resolute voices echoing throughout the venue. A sense of patriotism, camaraderie, and unity within the company blended seamlessly, creating an atmosphere filled with warmth.
